22  Projected Emissions Reductions and Removals

In this section we presented the monitored emissions reductions/removals and VCU issuance for the Kuamut project in Table 22.1. For years 2016-2023 the project emissions are based on observed data, mirroring tables Table 21.1 and Table 21.2. Beyond 2023 it is assumed that no deforestation occurs within the project and ongoing forest growth rate (with consideration of degradation) is equal to the most recent monitoring period (2022-2023).

Please note:

Projected GHG/VCU estimates may change following the baseline renewal process and in response to natural changes in ecosystem dynamics, which could affect ongoing forest growth rate.
